Weddings.

Weddings can be lovely occasions full of love, sunshine and flowers. They can also be disastrous occasions! Arguments between families, punch-ups, infidelity, drunkeness…  In this episode, I look back at some of the weddings I’ve attended.

Leaving school and going out to work in the 1960s was very different to how things are these days. Few people went to university as most went into the workplace on apprenticeships. The school leaving age was 16. In this episode, I look back at the transition from school to work.

We’re now in our third lockdown in the UK. Some people are fine, they have money and families and friends. They can get all the help they need. But, what if you’re elderly and you have no money, family or friends? What then?
