Hello, I hope you're keeping well. Railway stations were lovely places in the old days. The staff wore uniforms, there were flowers and gardens, everything was freshly painted... what went wrong? Progress, I suppose!

Railways due to lack of investment do not have the money to keep stations and staff like they used to. Most guards are well dressed. Government would have been better investing in railways instead of closing lines. Making electric railways, making bridges, tunnels higher and investing in container rail, car rail. Now they closed to many railways, even those that paided. Railway where I used to stay would have stayed open if it had been joined to the main line at both ends.
